Fantasy-LARP-Summer Fair "1. Westergarder Bürgertunier"

Summer fair? LARP? Fantasy? Tavern? Bands? All this in one package? Yes, that is possible and will be happening on August 24th, 2024 at the Torhaus Dölitz.

We invite you to the “1. Westergarder Bürgertunier", a fantasy LARP summer fair organized by the LARP Organizers of "Freie Silbermark" and "Hallgau" and the crew of the fantasy tavern "Wankende Hydra". Setting the stage on fire are “Fabi the Tavernpoet” and “Fairytale”  while  “Die Nachtvögel” play tunes for medieval dances. In the supporting program you can, among other things, test your strength with others at the eponymous citizens' tournament, let our dance masters lead you in historic dances and there are puzzles and stories to discover. Of course the Hydra provides drinks and food, from vegan to carnivorous, at the usual fair prices.

We look forward to seeing you, so grab your garb and get ready for a day full of fun, music and fantasy in the historic ambience of the Torhaus Dölitz.

For those interested, beginners and newbies

Brand new to LARP? Actually, you have no clue what to do? But you would like to give it a try?
No problem, our LARP tutors are waiting for you in the hour before official entrance. They give you an insight into the hobby, explain the rules and important terms, help with the equipment and answer all your questions. Please register in advance with a ticket "Einsteiger und Interessierte". In addition, you can find simple characters for the evening as well as tips and advice on where to get simple equipment on our Instagram channel, on Facebook and in our Discord and here on our Website. We can also rent out a small selection of equipment and clothing. Please contact us directly via FB, Insta, Telegram or Discord. in advance 

Conditions of participation and payment on site

Since this is a LARP (Live Action Roleplay) event, participation is only possible with appropriate clothing and equipment, as well as a character that fits the fantasy background. You can find more information about this on our Facebook profile, Instagram and Discord and here in the "Einstieg ins Hobby" section of the website. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have directly, or you can take advantage of the special offer for beginners in the run-up to the event.

We ask that you refrain from bringing your own food and drinks. We offer a good selection of both at very fair prices. We make a very clear exception here when it comes to homemade items. Do you smoke your own ham? Do you make your own mead or wine? Do you make your own liqueurs? Do you bake your own bread? Do you grow your own vegetables? Then bring it with you. Maybe you would even like to have a small booth with your homemade products?

There is no minimum age. Players under the age of 18 need an accompanying legal guardian in case of doubt with the written consent of the parents. Everyone under 18 must be on their way home by 10 p.m. Don't worry, you won't miss anything of the program.
Dogs are allowed. These must be kept on a leash. 

To ensure an immersive gaming expreience, we do not use Euros at the event. Instead, the Hydra tavernvouchers with the Köppe name are used specifically for food and drinks. These are available in values ​​1, 2 and 5. One Kopp represents €0.50. You can get the Köppe at any time during the event from the Hydra banker or at the counter. The minimum exchange size is €10. You can exchange any Köppe you don't use back for its corresponding euro value before you go home. We accept the following payment methods at the event: cash, debit card, credit card, Paypal, Samsung Pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Merchants that might be present are free to use the Köppe.

Overnight stay

You can stay overnight in your own tent on site from August 24th to August 25th. For this you need one Ticket "Zeltticket" per tent.  The tent ticket allows you to arrive earlier from 12 p.m. on the 24th. The tents are located away from the play area, so you don't need IT tents.  Departure with tent on August 25th. until 14 O 'clock.

Arrival and parking

The Torhaus Dölitz can be easily reached by public transport, we also recommend this mode of arrival.

Since the parking situation in front of the gatehouse is not ideal, we ask you to use the Agra parking lot on Goethesteig instead.

From here you walk about 500 meters to the event site. Head towards Spreewaldschänke and turn left behind it. The path is also signposted.

Participation offer for do-it-yourselfers

Do you do things yourself? Are you into craftsmanship? And you still have a lot of your works lying around and no idea what to do with them? Or do you already make beautiful goods to sell yourself?
With or without your own booth, we want you to be part of the citizens' tournament!
Here's the deal. You don't pay any booth rent or admission, but you enrich the citizens' tournament with your game and your goods. If you don't have your own booth, we will provide you with one for a fee of 10 euros. The size is approximately a beer table.
If you haven't had anything to do with LARP before, it doesn't matter. Even then you are more than welcome and we will help you accordingly; your goods should of course fit into a fantasy background.
We are deliberately not looking for resellers! Your goods should be of your own production.
